Scenic Sunday

Such an interesting symbol, rooted firmly but with the intention of touching the skies. I like how you both love to travel and to experience the world.
It reminds me a bit of one of those sun clocks. A round board usually on the pavement in the garden with a rectangular shape upright in the middle. Where the shadow falls it will tell you the time. I love the reflection of the monument in the water
That's a great shot with the reflection in the pond. I love DC and the Mall. I haven't been there in a long time. Your shot makes me want to get back there soon. Maybe on the 20th of Jan???

Very nice shot. I would love to visit there someday. My shot was taken in Utah at the Flaming Gorge.
