Interesting lighting! Never see anything like that around here. Thank you for your comments on my blog. Yes, that is ice that has formed as the water dripped from the rocks, and slowly froze. Sort of the same as stalactites in caves, only they are rock themselves. I am not sure of the climate in Maryland, but I think you will see some icicles in the next few months. Happy New Year!
