watery wednesday

These photos were taken in Myrtle Beach. When I was a kid I remember that my Father would go hunting together with his friends. He loved hunting, and wild duck and other birds were everywhere on the farm. I loved seeing my father carry a duck because it meant he was going to cook our favorite dish called patutin. Cooked in Sprite with pineapple juice and some herbs, the whole sauce absorbs into meat and is very good for baked rice cake.

mellow Yellow Monday

I really like this. I do not know if this is considered a sculpture or not. When I went to Norway I went to the National Park. It was such a huge place and sculptures are everywhere in the park. I went to the Vikings' museums, art museums, and the tourist spots where you can see their lifestyle from centuries ago. I took lots of photos but unfortunately I lost all of them because I did not know how to use my first digital camera. I was so disappointed but hopefully I will revisit Norway someday with my hubby.
