watery wednesday

These photos were taken in Myrtle Beach. When I was a kid I remember that my Father would go hunting together with his friends. He loved hunting, and wild duck and other birds were everywhere on the farm. I loved seeing my father carry a duck because it meant he was going to cook our favorite dish called patutin. Cooked in Sprite with pineapple juice and some herbs, the whole sauce absorbs into meat and is very good for baked rice cake.
Head to the site of Watery Wednesday and join us.

Wow, watery wednesday and a duck recipe too. I think anything cooked with sprite, coke or beer would turn out really really well.

Nice sunny scene after all those cold snowy wintery ones I've been looking at. I'm sure those ducks are hoping they won't end up on your plate! I do love duck dishes, though too!

Both shots are excellent, especially when enlarged, but I was really taken by the first shot because of the lovely composition and all that's happening in that from people, seagulls to that lovely fountain.

Beautiful photos, especially the ducks. I also like to eat ducks. Over here we have roast duck, marinated with herb also.
